Oh how exciting! You never think the day will come and now it's just about here. Going to the heparin, good choice, it stays in your system for a short time, however you will probably have to inject more than once a day, up to 3. Either way, you have to consider the need to have the blood thinner out of your body before delivery and the best way to control that. I wish you all the best and for an excellent birthing experience. Looks like the baby shower was fun with many people who care for you, the baby and Cliff. Tell Cliff I enjoy his twitter comments, some I don't understand but they're entertaining and informative. I hope his job gets better, so he doesn't have to work such long hours. Love, Aunt Sharon

Danielle, I know about those injections and trust me they're not so bad, it's a tiny needle and most people don't even feel the poke. It goes into your belly, one thing that might happen is bruising around your belly from the injections, and it being a blood thinner. I've given Lovenox shots and a coworker just went through the same thing during her pregnancy and everything went great. Any questions I'd be glad to help you out. by the way Congratulations!! You'll both be awesome parents! Take care.
